Michael Myles

Assistant Manager, Lexington Fitness Club

ACE-Certified Personal Trainer, First-degree Reiki Practitioner,  Certified Wrestling Coach


Michael Myles is the Assistant Manager of Lexington Fitness Club. He is an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer, with a specialty in Holistic Fitness.  This specialty - attained through the Academy of Holistic Fitness - focuses on developing strength, flexibility, and well-being through gradually-progressive resistance training and introductory Yoga postures.  


Michael is a graduate of Plymouth State College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies - a self-designed program in Physical Education and English - with a Philosophy Minor.  While at Plymouth, Michael studied Exercise Science, Coaching, and Sports Psychology.  He cultivated a balanced coaching philosophy based on the proven benefits of physical activity on learning, and experienced the positive effects of visualization in sports.  


Michael further built upon this foundation to become a first-degree Reiki Practitioner through the Usui Shiki Ryoho Method of Natural Healing, a Nutrition Specialist through Lifestyle Management Associates, and a Certified Wrestling Coach through the American Sport Education Program and USA Wrestling.  He offers safe, yet challenging exercise methods that develop strength and flexibility, and give rise to healthy eating.  He is a qualified, encouraging, and diversified fitness professional, and is an appropriate instructor for individuals of any age or activity level.
